HOW DO I RENT SOUTHERN SIPS?
First, shoot us an email at southernsipsandevents@gmail.com , let us know the date of your event or wedding, approximately how many guest you are expecting, and your venue. We will respond quickly with a customized quote for you. From there we will iron out all your datils, send a contract, score of work and invoice and TADA, you're apart of the family!
TN liquor law requires us to check ID on anyone that appears under 35. Sorry, no shots (this includes serving liquor neat or on the rocks). We can not allow any guests to self serve themself (ex: no open coolers or barrels of beer for guests to help themselves to). All alcohol must be kept behind the bar and served by our bartenders. Our main priority is for you and your guests to have the best time at your event, however the safety and well being of everyone is equally important. Therefore, while it’s never a fun task we will be required to cut someone off if they appear intoxicated.
DOES Southern Sips SUPPLY THE ALCOHOL?
We are a dry hire bar. This means the customer has to provide the alcohol and we serve it. We will provide licensed bartenders, cups, ice, mixers, napkins, and stirrers.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
Southern Sips and Events is based in Kingsport, TN. Travel outside of the metro area is based on how far in advance you book. If your needs are outside of the Kingsport area, be sure to book us as early as you can so we can plan around your event. (additional fees apply)
ALCOHOL ISN'T MY THING
Don't like alcohol? No problem! Souther Sips is customizable to YOUR event. We can offer services that include coffee, tea, soda, and even mocktails! When you book Southern Sips, we want it to truly feel like yours!
WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS CAN YOU DO?
We think of an event as anything that is special to you! We can do weddings, graduation parties, birthday parties, retirement parties, you name it and we will do our best to make it happen!
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS
We show up rain or shine! We cannot offer refunds due to inclement weather, a tent may be provided if required. We reserve your date for you meaning no one else can book with us due to blocking out your date for further inquiries. If your event gets postponed due to weather or unforeseen circumstances we will do our best to work with you to accommodate your rescheduled event dependent upon availability.
Do YOU NEED HOOKUP TO ELECTRIC?
Yes, we need one outlet within 100 feet of trailer set up. If electric is not available we can provide a generator at an additional cost.
